In Japanese, 庵 (iori) is a small hut where one steps away from the noise. That's the whole idea. One layer you put on to feel like yourself again.

IORI is for the man who wants one piece that sets him apart from the uniform of jeans, hoodie and sneakers — legitimate, grounded in real history, never a costume.

The heritage江戸

Quiet outside. Considered underneath.

For three centuries the haori was the everyday jacket of Japanese men — merchants, craftsmen, samurai. Edo-era laws forbade showing wealth, so they wore plain jackets outside and hid extraordinary linings within.

We didn't invent the haori. We brought it into today — cut shorter, made to layer over whatever you already wear. Same principle, six centuries on.

We brought it into today.

We cut it shorter. Made it to layer over a tee, a shirt, whatever you already own. Kept the principle exactly as it was six hundred years ago.

And we made it honestly. No mystery warehouses. No plastic-smelling parcels. Every fibre, every origin, written on the page — because a piece with this much history deserves to be made with respect.
